2009 / 2010 Season

Welcome to Season of Entertainment 29

It’s hard to believe that we are about to embark on our 29th Season. I want to thank all of our patrons–several of whom have been with us from the beginning–our sponsors, season family, and media partners. We’ve been offering touring events longer than any other presenter in our region. Last year over 25,000 people experienced the various shows of the Season of Entertainment.

This year, we will move all of our UA Fort Smith Music Department events to the Arkansas Best Performing Arts Center at the Fort Smith Convention Center. The Convention Center is easier to access, and you’ll have the same great seats for these programs as you do for the national touring shows. Don’t miss any of the events of our Music Department this year. To accommodate the number of performances they need, our growing Theatre Department will remain in the Breedlove Auditorium.

I would like to thank all of you who provide tickets for our students to attend the national touring shows. This is a great gift for all of our students.

We will again feature two packages this year, our full season and the Broadway package. Pick the one that is best for you. We will continue our monthly newsletter, but this year you have the option of having the newsletter delivered to your email account. When you order your Season tickets, give us your email address, and we will send your Season Updates electronically. After you sign up for the Season, please forward the Update to your friends or ask them to submit their email address to us, and we’ll make sure they’re added to our mailing list. Encourage them to join you at the theatre, as well.
