GET READY FOR A SEASON OF EXCITEMENT
What a Season! The University of Arkansas - Fort Smith brings a vast array of entertainment to the region with Season of Entertainment 27.

This year's slate includes six national touring productions, as well as concerts and productions by the UA Fort Smith Music Department, the Drama Department and the River Valley Community Band. UA Fort Smith is also offering a gigantic Season extra, the "Boston Pops Esplanade Orchestra."

The Boston Pops event, which is priced separately, is slated for Nov. 25. Season 27 touring shows include "The Ten Tenors on Sept. 23, "Evita" on Oct. 22, "Ring of Fire" on Oct. 29, the St. Petersburg Ballet with "Romeo and Juliet" on Jan. 28, "The Producers on Feb. 22 and "Chicago" on March 25.

Local programs on the Season 27 schedule include a combined UA Fort Smith Symphonic Band and choral concert on Oct 12 and 13, a production of the UA Fort Smith Drama Department on Nov. 1-3, a UA Fort Smith Jazz Band concert on Nov. 17, a Season's Greetings concert and campus lighting on Nov. 27, a concert by the River Valley Community Band on Feb. 18, UA Fort Smith Drama Department production on March 13-15, a Jazz Band concert on April 12, a choral concert on April 18-19, and a combined concert of the Symphonic Band and the River Valley Community Band on April 25-26.
